Cambridge
Golf Club
Cambridge Golf Club,
Longstanton, is a 18 hole golf course situated 7 miles north of historic Cambridge
city in a quiet rural setting at the edge of the fens. The golf course is 6818
yards which is one of the longest in the county and will provide an excellent
test for any level of golfer. All golfers are welcome to play a round of golf,
apply for membership or organise a society
day.
The course is a nicely matured parkland
course designed as two loops of nine, both finishing at the clubhouse, with ponds,
ditches and lakes. We have a 16 bay floodlit Driving Range which is open dawn
till dusk in the summer and till 8 pm in the winter. We also have a 9 hole Putting
Green and a small Chipping area in front of the Clubhouse.
We aim to keep
our fees as reasonable as possible to open up the experience
of golf to as many people as possible.
Cambridge
Golf Academy Academy which is now based at Cambridge Golf Club runs the Driving
Range and the Pro Shop as well as providing golf coaching. Visit them at the Driving
Range to find out more about their many special offers.
A separate Cambridge Members' Club looks after handicaps, runs competitions,
and organises matches against other clubs. The Members' Club also runs this website.
See the Members' club for details of committee members. The Calendar link gives details of club medals and events for the year.
The Cambridge Golf Club clubhouse Function room is available for all types of functions, conferences and parties. Contact the manager, Dave Wescombe for further details.
